According to the office National des Chemins de Fer (the National Bureau of Railways) the derailment of a passenger train on Thursday evening, in Fez, which left 45 people injured, may have been caused by an ?act of sabotage committed by unknown persons.?

?According to the primary previews, the accident may be related to an act of sabotage committed by unknown persons who stole several stabilizers used to consolidate the rail, causing the disintegration of rail track, thus derailment of the train,? read the statement issued by the National Bureau of Railways.
