Snowfall dusted the Florida Mountains south of Deming and made rural travel treacherous in Luna County. Road conditions early Friday morning near the Florida Mountains and along Rockhound Road were iced over for much of the morning. Snow flurries continued through the morning hours and broke for the afternoon, as the temperature reached a high of 37 degrees by midday.
