Buy the Best AA Batteries for Your MoneyMost of our gadgets run on built-in rechargeable batteries these days, but we all still have a few things that run on good ol' AAs. DIYer Thomas tested 30 different brands of AA batteries and found which ones gave you the best bang for your buck.

Thomas tested each set of batteries in both high and low drain situations, giving two sets of results that you should use depending on what you're using the batteries for. In both cases, the Kodak Xtralife provided the best power-to-price ratio, but it also points out which batteries have the straight-up longest capacity, which are the most expensive, and which are best in their category (zinc, lithium, and so on). And, of course it also points out which ones are the worst value for the money (Duracell Ultra Power, in case you were wondering). Check out the full list of results and the methodology below.
